This 18-section policy describes the exact intended release behavior: bundled education, fixed-choice tools, device-only SharedPreferences, Erase All, no network permission, and no account, ads, analytics, upload, payment, chat, backup, or transfer.
Scope
This policy explains how Twin Canopy Stewardship version 1.0.0 handles information on Android. It applies only to this offline educational app, not to external sites, app stores, device services, or other organizations.
This public page mirrors the app privacy summary and separately describes the support site where relevant. The policy is effective July 31, 2026. The Android package is org.twotreesofvalinorfoundation.twincanopy and the app is published for Two Trees of Valinor Foundation.
App purpose
The app provides general educational prompts about thoughtful charitable stewardship. It is not a grant application portal, donation service, professional adviser, official decision system, or representation that funding is available.
The bundled experience includes 35 learning modules, Focus Lens, 12 clearly fictional Case Table scenarios, fixed-choice Decision Weave and Brief, Board Circle, Cycle Trace, and Source Cabinet. It does not provide legal, tax, investment, accounting, financial, compliance, or fiduciary advice.
No account
The app does not create user accounts, profiles, logins, public identities, or authentication records.
There is no membership, subscription, cloud synchronization, password, public posting, chat, or publisher dashboard. Neither the app nor this support site contains a contact form.
Information you choose
Choices are limited to fixed options, saved modules, completed practice markers, and display preferences. The app contains no free-text field and does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, physical address, organization name, financial data, government identifier, health data, photograph, or precise location.
The app also has no file picker, camera capture, microphone recording, document upload, image upload, grant application, donation form, or payment input. Do not attempt to use the app as a confidential or official record.
Local storage
Selected preferences and practice progress are stored only in Android SharedPreferences on the device. They are used to restore the app experience and are not transmitted by the app.
The app bundles its lessons, cases, illustrations, and source descriptions. It does not create a cloud database or public file. The developer and named organization cannot remotely view or retrieve local choices.
No collection or sharing
The app has no Internet permission and does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, monetize, or share personal information with the developer, the named organization, advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.
The app sends no selections, progress, activity, device identifier, or content to the support site. A user may independently discuss an idea outside the app, but that action is not an app data transfer.
No advertising or tracking
The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking pixel, attribution SDK, cross-app identifier use, behavioral profiling, or targeted advertising.
This support site also includes no analytics, advertising, marketing cookie, fingerprinting, social SDK, or tracking pixel. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change the app because it performs no network tracking.
Permissions
The app requests no dangerous Android permissions. It does not request contacts, camera, microphone, media, notifications, calendar, Bluetooth, nearby devices, phone, SMS, biometrics, or location access.
The final Google Play declaration must be checked against the exact signed Android App Bundle. A later release that changes permissions, SDKs, or behavior requires a new review and, when appropriate, an updated policy.
Device and platform processing
Android, Google Play, the device manufacturer, accessibility services, keyboards, backup tools, or security software may process information independently under their own terms. The app disables Android backup and device-transfer inclusion for its app data.
The public support site is separate from the app. It loads only local site assets and sends no data to the app. The hosting provider may process ordinary connection information such as an IP address and request metadata to deliver and protect the site under its own terms.
Retention
Local choices remain until you clear them in the Archive, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. The developer cannot retrieve or restore this local information.
There is no server-side app user profile, grant record, applicant record, or tool result for the publisher to retain. Locally saved state remains under the control of the device user.
Deletion
Use Archive → Erase local data to delete saved modules, practice markers, and display preferences held by the app. Android system controls may also clear all app storage.
The erase action clears the complete SharedPreferences state used by the app and returns the learning tools to their initial condition. It cannot remove material a user independently recorded or shared outside the app.
Security
Keeping data on the device and minimizing inputs reduces exposure, but no device is risk-free. Protect the device with available operating-system security controls and avoid relying on the app as an official or confidential record.
Anyone with unlocked access to the same device may be able to open the app and view its local state. No technical measure can guarantee absolute device security.
Children
The app is written for adults interested in charitable stewardship and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect children's personal information and includes no social features, chat, public profiles, or user-generated content.
The app also has no purchase, donation, precise-location sharing, behavioral advertising, or engagement pressure. The publisher must choose the Google Play target-age declaration that matches the final listing and content.
Sensitive and professional matters
Do not use the app to record personal stories, applicant data, beneficiary details, financial records, health information, legal matters, safeguarding reports, or confidential board information. Seek qualified advice where legal, tax, financial, accessibility, safety, or professional obligations apply.
The app does not evaluate eligibility, score an organization, issue funding, transfer money, create a board record, or provide a professional opinion. Its fictional cases are learning exercises, not reports about real entities.

The Source Cabinet lists plain-text source names and domains for independent research. The app does not open links or send browsing activity. External publishers control their own content and privacy practices.

Changes
If app behavior changes, this policy and the public policy page should be updated before the changed version is distributed. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date or app version.
Networking, accounts, free text, uploads, analytics, advertising, payment, backup, or additional data use must not be released under this description without updating the app, Play disclosures, and public policy together.
United States context
The educational examples use a general United States nonprofit context. Privacy and other rights vary by location. This policy does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
The app does not determine which law applies to a real organization or decision. Users should consult current primary sources and appropriately qualified professionals when location-specific rights or obligations matter.
